Steve is a Principal and serves as a Project Coordinator for Command Commissioning. He is responsible for overall management of the commissioning process from the design phase through owner operation and maintenance.
Steve earned an Associates of Applied Science in Air Conditioning Technology from Texas State Technical College in 1989. He is an NEBB Certified Professional in Air and Hydronics, ASHRAE Certified Commissioning Process Management Professional (CPMP), and an ACG Certified Commissioning Authority (CxA).
Steve's experience includes a stint in the US Navy on a nuclear submarine as a Petty Officer machinist's mate where he was responsible for maintenance of the ships mechanical systems and acted as the Damage Control Petty Officer. He then attended TSTC and began a career air conditioning. Steve has previously served as a project manager and Installation Group Manager at Entech, a BAS Integration company as well as Vice President of Operations at Mechanical Performance, Inc., a TAB Firm, before joining Command Commissioning in 2007. His experience includes building automation, TAB, security, CCTV, fuel oil, fire alarm systems of large new and renovation projects in the health care, semiconductor, telecom, commercial building and data center industries.
Steve is a member of the Lonestar 7x24 Exchange, the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), the National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB), and Building Commissioning Association (BCA).
