1200 19th Street NW

This office building is located at the intersection of 19th and M Streets in the central business district of Washington DC. The building was constructed in 1964 and in 2009 completed a major architecture, mechanical, electrical and control system upgrades. The building is LEED CS Platinum certified.

1200 19th St NW is an eight-story, 235,404 SQFT Class A office building located at the intersection of 19th and M Streets. The building was completed in 1964, renovated in 1987 and features three ground-floor restaurants. When Hines Core Office Fund, a partnership between Hines and Sumitomo Life Realty (N.Y.) Inc., acquired 1200 19th Street NW from Sumitomo Life Realty. Command Commissioning provided the LEED Fundamental and Enhanced NC Core and Shell commissioning in order to bring the building up to date with LEED® standards.

Command Commissioning provided LEED Fundamental and Enhanced Commissioning in the U.S. Green Building Council LEED for Existing Buildings. The redevelopment efforts include LEED certification.
