BHP Billiton Tower

BHP Billiton (1500 Post Oak) is a 600,000 SQFT Class A office tower. The building is 30-stories high with 7-levels of parking and has achieved LEED Gold certification. The building is owned by the Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America.

Command Commissioning provided LEED CS Fundamental and Enhanced commissioning to the owner on the 600,000 SQFT building. The commissioning process included the HVAC, Building Management Control, Lighting Control, and Domestic Hot Water systems and the project achieved LEED CS Gold certification.

The tower includes numerous sustainable features including a glass curtain wall with a screen of sunshades. The facility was designed with employees in mind and includes a cafeteria, coffee bar, 11,000 SQFT fitness center, and tech support kiosk.
