Project Info
Description
BG Group Place is a signature addition to the downtown Houston Skyline. The buildingís skin is made of horizontal glass and aluminum. The defining feature of BG Group Place is a sky garden on the 39th floor, recessed into the form of the building. The sky garden boasts a five-story atrium. BG Group Place is the tallest building to be built in Houston since 1987. The best in class facility is occupied by BG Group, Baker Hostetler, and KPMG.
Command Commissioning played an integral role in the project to ensure LEED Platinum Certification. Our responsibilities began in the design phase and continued through post-acceptance. The commissioning process focused on the design, installation and operation of the energy consuming systems. The building systems were commissioned and approved by our team.
